How do I add a new question & answer?

To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Click “Manage FAQs” button 2. From your site’s dashboard you can add, edit and manage all your questions and answers 3. Each question and answer should be added to a category 4. Save and publish.

Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?

Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.

How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title?

You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.

How much is a portrait commission?

Please contact me above for a quote :) The total cost to commission a portrait can range from $500 to $2,5000/head, which varies primarily by size due to cost of materials and total labor time. I work with oil paints, and there will be an option to choose whether I use traditional brush OR knife techniques (preferred).

What does the commission process look like?

The following steps are taken to ensure you're satisfied with your commission:

Contact - Contact me regarding your commission project, and I'll work with you to provide a vision and a quote.
Contract - We sign an order. The first half of the payment is due at this time.
Composition - You will get to review and approve an underpainting (monochrome) before color and detail is applied.
Changes - You'll get a few chances to make non-compositional changes as I work through the background and figures.
Completion - When it's all done, I'll share the final portrait and walk you through the work. The work is then stored safely to dry until it can be delivered. The second half of the payment is due before delivery.

This process overall takes a minimum of 6 weeks.

How long does it take to paint a portrait?

A portrait can take anywhere from 8 - 25 hours of painting spread across multiple days or weeks. Once completed, oil paint takes at least 2 weeks to dry.

Can I commission ceramics?

New ideas are very welcome as I explore my own interests. Please note that pricing will vary based on size and designs. Local pick-up available. Drop-off or shipping is available at an additional cost.
